Darshanam- Indian Classical Dance

"Darshanam" means a vision or insight into something that is profound or obscure. The title of our event is "Darshanam" to provide insight into the formal Bharathanatyam repertoire emphasizing the mythological stories of India. "Darshanam's" production director, K. Mohanan of Kalakshetra (Chennai, India), will work in collaboration with Dr. Anuradha Murali of Mrudani School of Performing Arts, and an ensemble of professional artists residing in USA to present a formal Bharathanatyam repertoire in Charleston, SC. The artist ensemble include K. Mohanan (Chennai, India), Anuradha Murali (SC), Mallika Murali (SC), Aparna Seetharaman (CA), Gayatri Seshadri (TN), Sivakami Bhavanandan (SC). Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Joyful Heart Foundation.
